Introduction

Sankalchand Patel University (SPU) is a leading private university in North Gujarat, dedicated to providing world-class education, fostering innovation, and promoting holistic student development. Established under the Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2016, the University officially came into existence on 9 May 2016.

The University is promoted by Nootan Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (NSVKM), an educational trust founded in 1952 by Shri Sankalchand Patel, a renowned freedom fighter, visionary philanthropist, and social entrepreneur. His vision was to create a value-based and diversified education system that would empower students and contribute to the educational advancement of North Gujarat.

Spread across an expansive 84-acre campus, Sankalchand Patel University offers a vibrant academic environment with modern infrastructure and advanced learning facilities. The University comprises several constituent institutes offering undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and professional programmes in Medical, Paramedical, Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Science, Management, and Allied Health Sciences.
